WHAT IS DWARVENKIND

Dwarvenkind is a sci-fi fantasy, extraction RPG in a pre-alpha stage of active development. The game is centered on a technologically advanced dwarven civilization emerging after 25,000 years of isolation beneath the earth. Built around deliberate gameplay and smart risk assesment, the game emphasizes strategic resource management, procedural level exploration, and layered progression systems.

SUPPORT
  • THE SETTING:

The surface world is hostile, overrun by greenskins with independently evolved weaponry and tactics, while dwarves emerge from a single surviving hold with perfected tech, intent on reclaiming the lost world.

  • TECH LEVEL

The dwarves wield refined technology equivalent to mid-21st century standards—modular gear, advanced metallurgy, and adaptive systems. They deploy engineered solutions to reclaim and reshape the surface.

  • DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Player agency is paramount. Systems are meant to be layered but intuitive, rewarding timing, improvisation, and strategic adaptation. Every mechanic is designed to support emergent solutions and expressive play.

  • GAMEPLAY

Players explore procedural biomes to mine vital resources, uncover lost lore, and confront escalating threa. Combat is tactical and avoidable; stamina, mana, and health are finite and only recover through rest.

Greenskins dominate the surface through relentless tribal warfare and brutal innovation. Their weapons are crude but deadly, shaped by thousands of years of conflict. Short-lived and aggressive, they thrive in chaos and resist any lasting order.
